Access Information Management Acquires Datashred, Inc.

Pleasanton, CA – Access Information Management has announced the acquisition of DataShred, Inc., a California-based information destruction company with headquarters in Hayward, California. DataShred currently offers on and off-site document and media destruction services to clients in the San Francisco Bay Area, Sacramento and Los Angeles markets.

With this acquisition Access will offer expanded information destruction services to all California clients. In addition, Access will be launching a new computer hard drive destruction service to meet a growing demand not met by most document destruction companies.

Previous DataShred owner, Jim Gitas will assist in the transition and help Access with implementing additional destruction solutions.
